Most bloggers (or writers for that matter) offer services to a client who wants to hire a writer to write something for him. When I was a kid, I dreamed about sitting in front of my laptop each morning, typing away at whatever task you wanted me to do. Today it turned out to be easier: you just pick a project, give the client what he needs to pay you, and wait for the work to come with it. Maybe the work is quite technical, but just when it comes to writing, it will be done. After that, you get your payment and hope you can repeat the contract with another client. We've all heard stories about big companies losing thousands of dollars every year, but I've seen dozens of small businesses doing exactly the same. And as a rule of thumb, if you're going to offer freelance services, avoid any sort of competition. For example, you just can't compete with others in terms of expertise and experience. Moreover, you should not copy works that already exist or plagiarize work because you are not serious about writing something interesting and creative. So, you need to work hard on your craft by working only as a freelancer, but you shouldn't try to imitate other people's content as if it's yours. Being a freelance writer is a real privilege, because you don't have to stress about finding clients, paying them, or answering their emails.
